Selecting Channels

  1. Press the power button to turn on ActiveComms

  1. On the same bar as the Power button, press the chevron to expand the ActiveComms menu

  2. Press the bar labeled 1

  1. A list of channels will pop up, select the channel you’d like to listen/respond to

    1. If the channel you select is a radio bridge channel, the label will change from “RADIO ON” to “BRIDGE CONNECTED”.

    2. If it is a virtual channel (not connected to your radio system), it will remain “Radio On”.

  1. Repeat for the bar labeled 2

  2. Once finished the screen should look like the image below

    1. Above the channel name will show the channels status. See the glossary below to see what each color and indicator mean.

Switching between channels

To switch between channels, click the channel toggle button to move a channel from the top to the bottom and vice versa.

Radio Bridge Disconnected

If you are seeing a message saying that your radio bridge is disconnected, your bridge is not able to connect to our servers. To reconnect, ensure that your bridge has a stable internet connection. You may also need to restart the radio bridge. If the message persists after completing the reboot, please contact our support team.

Channel has lost connection to the service.

Reconnecting

The service is attempting to reestablish a connection to our service.

Idle

Listening to the channel but inactive.

Receiving

The channel being listened to is receiving a transmission.

Transmitting

You are speaking into the channel.
