Sending call data to Active911 using SNPP
You may send pages to your Active911 account using SNPP if you wish. The settings are as follows:
Server
snpp.active911.com
Port
444
Password
(none)
Pager ID
the part of your Alert Email before the @ sign. For said email,1234-abCdEAF@alert.active911.com (only an example) the ID would be 1234-abCdeAF.
You may also need the following:
SNPP version
2
Timeout
20 seconds
If you are getting error responses, please make sure that you are using the full pager ID and that your timeout is set to a fairly high value. This is because we actually perform paging in real time; if your SNPP implementation times out after a few seconds, it will never receive a 250 "OK" code from our servers.
