Quick Playback(BETA)
Quick Playback is the newest feature to improve the ActiveComms user experience. It is still in BETA and only available on the new overlay.
Quick Playback allows ActiveComms users to listen to the most recent transmission with the tap of a button.
How it works:
Connection
Quick Playback will capture the last transmission from any channel the user is connected to and allows them to replay it for up to 30 minutes. Powering off the ActiveComms overlay or changing channels will delete any saved transmission and will not restore it when the channel is reconnected.
Replay Length
Replays will be recorded if they are at least two seconds and a maximum of one minute. If a transmission is over one minute, only the last minute will be replayed.
Ongoing Transmissions
When pressing the replay button, all incoming traffic will be paused, and the user cannot transmit until the replay is finished or stopped. If a new transmission comes through while one is actively being replayed, it will be available to replay once playback of the current transmission completes or is stopped.
