Turning ActiveComms on/off(New Overlay)
With the new ActiveComms overlay, we have changed how you power on and off your ActiveComms overlay. In the original, you could power it on/off before expanding the overlay; now, you will need to expand the overlay before turning it on.
To turn ActiveComms on:
At the bottom of the screen is a lighter blue bar with a chevron button, a bar with a greyed-out channel, a set of arrows, and the quick playback icon.
Tap the chevron to bring up the ActiveComms Overlay.
At the top of the overlay, you should see a dark blue power button, and all channels and buttons will be unclickable. (This indicates that ActiveComms is currently off.)
Tap the dark blue power button.
The power button will now turn gold. And your channels will connect to our servers and your Active Bridge. Once the indicators turn green, you are fully connected to ActiveComms.
Turning ActiveComms off:
Turning the ActiveComms overlay off will disable audio send/receive and stop storing quick playbacks, and any existing ones will be removed. However, if you enable these options in settings, you’ll still receive channel activity, tone alerts, and radio-bridge notifications.
Press the Gold power button.
The power button will turn blue, indicating that ActiveComms is off, and the Overlay will fade.
