Getting Started with ActiveComms
Welcome to ActiveComms! Here’s what you need to know to get your team up and running.
1. Add Your People
Invite Members – Send invites so your crew can join your agency.
Assign Devices – Link a phone or tablet to each member.
Manage Permissions – Control who can talk, listen, or admin.
Edit Details – Update names, roles, or swap devices when needed.
2. Build Your Channels
Add New Channels – Create talk/listen groups for your agency.
Edit Channels – Adjust settings as your comms needs evolve.
Delete Channels – Clean up unused channels.
3. Set Up the ActiveBridge
Get Connected – Install and set up your ActiveBridge device.
Stay Current – Keep the Bridge updated.
4. Check User Settings
Disable Battery Optimization – Keeps ActiveComms running reliably.
Set Notifications – Decide how you want alerts to show up.
Conditional Unmuting – Let important alerts cut through background noise.
Enable Two-Tone Detection – Make sure tones trigger alerts correctly.
