You’ve received a coverage request from another user or an administrator . How do you respond? There are two paths--one via the website and the other through the mobile apps.

Instructions

1. Click on the Respond to Request button at the bottom of the email or click the push notification.

a. If you’re on a supported mobile device and have the app installed, you’ll be redirected to the app.

b. If you’re on a computer or an unsupported mobile device or do not have the app installed, you’ll be redirected to https://console.active911.com in your browser.

2. If you’re not logged in, you’ll need to log in. After logging in, you’ll be redirected to the Requests page.

3. Whether you’re on the mobile app or the website, you’ll have a few options.

Response options

a. “Claim” to automatically fill an unlocked position. The sender will get a notification email, no further action needed

b. “Request” permission from the administrator to fill a locked position. You will get a second notification if the administrator approved you. The sender will get a notification email.

b. Deny the request by pressing the silver button.
No c. “Deny” shift. The request will disappear, no notification email will be sent. You won’t be able to respond again to this request.
