You’ve received a coverage request from another user or an administrator. How do you respond? There are two paths--one via the website and the other through the mobile apps.

Instructions (From Email Notification)

1. Click on the Respond to Request button at the bottom of the email

a. If you’re on a supported mobile device and have the app installed, you’ll be redirected to the app.

b. If you’re on a computer or an unsupported mobile device or do not have the app installed, you’ll be redirected to https://console.active911.com in your browser.

2. If you’re not logged in, you’ll need to log in. After logging in, you’ll be redirected to the Requests page.

3. Whether you’re on the mobile app or the website, you’ll have a few options.

a. Accept the request by pressing the gold button on the request. Depending on the type of position, you may see either “claim” (automatically fill this position, no further action needed) or “request” (ask an administrator for permission to fill the position).
If you accept the request, the sender will get a notification email.

b. Deny the request by pressing the silver button.
No notification email will be sent. You won’t be able to respond again to this request.

 🎉 Coverage request response complete!

If the request was sent by another user (to fill the position that they’re supposed to be filling), the first person to respond will be assigned to the shift and all others will show as No Response.
